The Biggest, Longest and Strongest CHAINSAWS

Com: Rowdy: Why does every wood and chainsaw enthusiast think Stihl is the king. Displacement uh…maybe. But torque, brake horsepower, and rated.

The numbers do not lie. The biggest chainsaw I have ever seen cut wood is “El Jeffe” the 13 foot barred Husqvarna 3120XP! When it comes to brake power the rivals are the Sachs Dolmar 166 and the Stihl 090.

The Sachs Dolmar 166 having just under “13 S.A.E. Brake H.P.”! Thats factory stock! The 090 could only squeeze more time lapsing power out by the removal of the governor vane from the choke shaft on the carb.

So is Stihl the bad boy on the chainsaw block. NO. The Dolmar is, was, and will always be “KING”.

For now as close as I can get is a Husqvarna Stroked with an Stihl Contra “Race domed” piston and ported. All to make the Husqvarna 3166XPW “Jungle Demon” named Matilda! Next she gets nitrous oxide!
