Cutting an 8ft tree with 36” bar

Comments: – – The tree didn’t really look that big when you approached it with the camera and put the saw forward. But this side view really shows how big this thing is. Good job

Super Video!! Have you ever considered upgrading to a larger stick for trees like this or is it just not worth the extra weight and time to make it?

How can I be a member of this? I want to fall trees like this all day. i love you videos i try to watch them all i learned a ton just by watching how it works use your saw to get big ass trees down pretty impressive

It’s almost nice to see that not everything goes according to plan. But you landed them safely and with hollow stems, you have to leave more holding wood. Sometimes peach, sometimes not. Thanks for another great presentation and may it be a great year for you and yours.

Good, clearly you and your partner are doing it there. I loved. My father was a lumberjack for 40 years. You are wonderful harvesters of a renewable resource that should have done what you are doing now. thanks for the great videos

Bought your sweater last fall, use it pretty often too hot Good to see there are a few big trees around I work for a hydro pole harvesting company in port alberni and came across a red cedar tree cut down by a fall in the Campbell river area in the 80’s which is 13 ft at the butt

The ‘sawdust in the face’ just adds to the experience. Thanks for another great video. I first heard the term ‘school marm’ tree in the ’70s at the Little House on the Prairie. Any idea WHY the name stuck for these shoots?
