Extremely Dangerous Logging Trucks Crossing River and Climbing Steep Mountain Roads in Asia

1:21 I’m not really a tree hugger but I know this tree is old. Sad to see these go. These guys really test the durability of their trucks

Some of these felled trees are thousands of years old. I hope logging companies responsibly replace these trees. A government official should check to see if this is indeed the case. If you don’t control it, there is no way to cut down trees in an ecologically responsible way.

It’s sad to see these guys cut their commitments as best they can and see who or what gets in there.

This is how rich people cut down the US tree in Borneo, they get permits easily, we just watch here

Excellent documentary. I must say, the background music, the sharp plot, the storytelling style all contribute to presenting a slightly sugary version of what a slow, complacent and unexciting life should be. The problem with documentaries is that they can’t be real recordings. Some of the truth is missed by the way it is told. Not on purpose, but out of necessity to make the story ‘interesting’ But it was a great watch. It sparked my interest in the subject and will keep me busy doing research for the next few weeks.

B.C. is clear-cutting the last of its old growth forests. Why would they feel compelled to do that? Compared to Washington State, this is extraordinary. These forests can contain trees that are several hundred years old. Canada is huge. Preserve the oldest and best forests for future generations.
